The 12 km trail is intense, but a swim in the river at the headwaters is refreshing. Before resting, we strolled through the village of Vale do Capão, full of mystical little shops and local charms.

The time has come!
We climbed up Beco do Guiné towards Mirante do Pati, passing waterfalls that already set the tone for the grandeur of this trek.
Our hearts race with each landscape, and the immersion becomes even more intense when we are welcomed into a local family home, where we dine and spend the night with the feeling that we are guests, not just tourists.
Being welcomed by this local family becomes one of the most magical moments of this trip. But we'll leave the rest for you to discover for yourself.

The farewell couldn't have been better.
On the way back to Salvador, we stopped at Poço Azul to float in crystal-clear waters over 30 meters deep.
The light filtering through the rock creates a unique spectacle, bringing the trip to a perfect close. My heart aches, but it also overflows with joy at everything I experienced during those intense days in Chapada.
